After getting our fill of the Paradise Visitor's Center and the surrounding trails, we got back on the bus for the drive out of Mt. Rainier National Park and the return trip to downtown Seattle. Our driver took a different route out of the park than he had on the way in, giving us the opportunity to see the sights on the other side of the mountain. Our driver stopped at a waterfall so that we could snap pictures or cool off in the water pooling at the bottom. He also dropped us off to hike a short trail just off the road. After a brief stop at Wapiti's Woolies for ice cream, we were on our way back to the city for an early dinner followed by an early bedtime - it was a long day in the park!
