Happy Thanksgiving!

It is business as usual here in the Netherlands today, but back home, our families and friends are gathering together and giving thanks for their blessings.  We won't be partaking in a traditional Thanksgiving meal this evening, nor will we be watching football or paging through Black Friday sales ads.  Yet we ARE giving thanks.  There's nothing like moving miles away from your home, family, and friends to make you truly appreciate all that you've left behind.  Not a day has gone by that we haven't thought about how wonderful it will be to return home to the ones we love...and to BW3s, a garbage disposal, Target, our bed, Starbucks, American television, Bailey, our oven, our freezer, English, American grocery stores, our cars...I could go on and on!

And so, while we eat our Domino's pizza and cheesy bread for dinner, we will be thinking of and giving thanks for our HOME!
