Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell Walk

This morning, I joined other School District of Waukesha staff members in participating in the Jingle Bell Run and Walk for Arthritis at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Summit View staff members made up most of the school district's team. We all opted to walk the route through and around the zoo.

With sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s, we could not have had a more beautiful morning for our walk; it felt more like a morning in late spring than one in late fall! It was almost strange to see other participants dressed as Santa Claus, The Grinch, snowmen, reindeer, or presents (Don't you think it would be hard to walk or run while dressed in costume?).

This was the first year that I participated in the Jingle Bell Run and Walk. I hope to participate in the event again next year!
