It has been a little over a week since I last reported on the progress in the basement. Since then, the plumbing has been installed, the electrical wiring has been finished, and the drywall has been delivered. That's right - these guys move fast! We expect that the process of hanging the drywall will begin tomorrow, and if they stay true to their track record, they should be finished drywalling in no time!
Jim and I selected the granite, carpeting and tile for the basement earlier in the week, and, much to Jim's delight, we went furniture shopping yesterday! We chose to purchase a set of furniture to place in the living room and to move our current living room furniture down into the basement along with the TV and the console.
The pictures don't do justice to the progress that has been made, but check them out anyways...
