Since Christmas, we have hosted more gatherings for family and friends at our home than we typically host in a year - due in part to the success of the Green Bay Packers, but mostly because of our newly finished basement! As we had hoped, the space has been great for entertaining, and apparently, good luck for the Super Bowl-bound Packers!
A couple weeks ago, we invited my family over to the house to watch the Packers defeat the Falcons. We enjoyed watching the Packers win while noshing on enchiladas, chips, salsa, and guacomole from
Cocina DeLeon. Some of us also may have partaken in a few margaritas - Dakota was served her very first margarita at our bar!
We hope that our basement will bring the Packers the luck that they need to defeat the Steelers next weekend!
