Only in Madison...

Jim and I were on our way to the Madison Farmers' Market on the Capitol Square on Saturday morning when we happened upon a group of bike riders, which wouldn't have been so strange had those bike riders not been BUCK NAKED!  Apparently, the bicyclists were enduring what must have been an uncomfortable if not painful tour of Madison in an effort to draw attention to draw attention to oil dependency and the negative social and environmental impacts of a car dominated culture.  The Madison cyclists were a part of a worldwide demonstration in support of alternative energy. 

I'm not sure that the cyclists convinced anyone to ditch their car and pick up a bike, but they sure did make me laugh! (and groan a little bit, too)  And we got to see them twice!  Once from the back as they passed our car, and then we were given a full-frontal view as they made their way around the Square!  Aren't we lucky?!?
