In the days following their birth on Tuesday, the twins were introduced to many of the family members and friends who had been awaiting their arrival. We welcomed visitors into our hospital during each day of our stay, beginning on Tuesday evening and continuing through Friday afternoon. Kudos to those among you who held not one, but both of our babies at the same time! They may be small, but they can definitely weigh your arms down!
Thank you to all of you who made the trip to and through the confusing streets of Waukesha to meet our two peas in a pod. Thank you, as well, for lavishing them with all sorts of gifts, from books and dolls to clothes and toys!
It meant so much to both Jim and me to be able to share in the joy of the twins' arrival with those that we love most!

| Grandma Carol took to holding both babies like a pro! |
| Maddie and Will met their Meme and Papa |
| When they weren't holding a baby, guests were asked to sign copies of the book, On the Night You Were Born, for the twins. Thank you to all who wrote special messages in the books for the kiddos...what cherished mementos they will be! |

| Auntie Sue had the audacity to show up looking fabulous while I, on the otherhand, looked pretty ragged as I recovered in the hospital bed. Thanks for showing me up, sis'. |
| Auntie Kristen took turns holding both babies. Here, she meets little Will. |
| Meme returned to see the babies for a second visit, when she cradled both in her arms. |
| Great Grandma Joan took on and conquered the two baby challenge. |
| Shelly visited us during her lunch break. Here, she holds Miss Maddie. |
| Cousin Dakota was ecstatic to meet the twins. Her expression in the photo above is priceless! |
| Great Aunts Sharon and Elaine stopped by for the chance to hold the babies. Great Aunt Elaine seemed to enjoy cuddling with the babies so much that I thought that she might try to sneak one out of the hospital with her! |
Jenny dropped by after work (hence the scrubs) to meet the babies and to present Maddie with her very first dolly and Will with his first barbell weight!

| The babies hung out with their Uncle Bobby and their Uncle Matt |
