Fish Fry and a Flick

Last night, we were finally able to check out Fish Fry and a Flick at Discovery World. The outdoor film series ran on select Fridays throughout the summer, with the last movie scheduled to be shown on September 18th. Last night's flick of choice was the 1980 classic, Caddyshack.

We had wanted to go to the event earlier in the summer to catch such films as The Big Lebowski and Old School, but the screenings always conflicted with Brewer games. With no Brewer game to attend last night, we were finally free to see what Fish Fry and a Flick had to offer. We headed down there with Matt and Kerri.

Though it would have been wise to arrive earlier to find seats closer to the screen, we enjoyed the film event. The fish fry, prepared by Bartolotta restaurants, was excellent and the Point beer specials were cheap and tasty. As always, Caddyshack was hilarious. And who can beat a gorgeous late summer night on the lakefront?

We hope that Fish Fry and a Flick returns for a second season. If it does, we hope to attend more than one screening!
