Last Sunday, Jim and I ventured to the Milwaukee Public Market for lunch and shopping. I had been to the Market once before, but Jim had never been. After visiting Seattle's Pike Place Market, we thought we'd visit Milwaukee's own Market. It doesn't come close to comparing to Seattle's Market, but it was fun to visit. We ate lunch at Margarita Paradise, a tacqueria located at one end of the Market. We shopped for sweets, cheese, and wine. While perusing the contents of the deli windows at Rupena's Fine Foods, we spotted Pig Ears and decided to buy one for Bailey.
Bailey seemed to know exactly what we had brought to him as soon as we arrived home! He quickly sniffed out the bag containing the ear. We took him outside onto the patio to enjoy his treat. Initially, he took the ear into his mouth and attempted to get back inside (He likes to chew while laying on the carpet), but then began to chew once he realized that he wasn't going to eat that ear in the house! I think it's safe to say that he loved the ear - he chewed it down to a small nub in no time while making low gutteral noises. What a pig!
