Today, marking the last of the twins' "first" holidays, we gathered together with Jim's family to celebrate Easter. Despite the fact that Maddie and Will are now fighting the nasty cold that I brought home from school, we all enjoyed the time spent with family earlier today. We could have done without the runny noses (that were constantly wiped on Mama's clothing) and the pesty coughs, but we made the best of the day. Maddie and Will joined the family at the dinner table for the first time and partook in some of the meal's offerings. Will, as usual, had fun flirting with his Auntie Kristen, and Maddie allowed us to put bunny ears on her head (and then wore them for quite a while!). Will played cars with his cousin, Connor, for a few minutes, and Maddie had fun dancing (and may have picked up some new dance moves!) with her Mimi and cousins!
We will all sleep well tonight! And to combat these colds, sleep is exactly what the twins need! Happy Easter!
