Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular

I wasn't sure how much trick-or-treating we would do in our neighborhood tonight, so when I heard about the Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular event at the Milwaukee County Zoo last Saturday, I thought we'd check it out.  We invited Chris, Kristen, Connor, Emma, Steve, and Deb to join us.

The actual trick-or-treating left much to be desired (There were very few trick-or-treating stops, and those that there were featured candy that the twins cannot eat.), but we still all managed to have fun!  It was great to see all of the cousins together in their costumes, and it was nice to visit the zoo for one last time before our trip.

I've heard good things about the Boo at the Zoo event held a week prior to the Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular - maybe we'll look into that next year!

As it turns out, we were able to do quite a bit of trick-or-treating tonight.  We may not have scored much candy at the zoo, but we were able to pull in a haul tonight!

What does the fox say?  He doesn't say much of anything with a pacifier in his mouth.

Pirate Connor

Rollin' their way through the zoo!

There's an adorable little ladybug under that coat!

Owl Baby

Once she was freed from the wagon, Maddie was off and running through the zoo...

We concluded our visit with a ride on the zoo train!

All of the fresh air wore our young fox out!

Our owlet was wiped!
