On Saturday, Jim and I were quite the party people! We bounced from one party to the next! First, we joined Sue and Matt, my mom, and Matt's mom in celebrating Dakota's first birthday! We weren't able to stay for the cake, but we certainly enjoyed the time that we were able to spend with the birthday girl. We played with toys and balloons, opened presents, and ate snacks (including cherry tomatoes made to look like Elmo) and chili (Mmmm). Here are a few shots from Dakota's Sesame Street-themed party:
After Dakota's party, we jetted off to the Summit View staff Christmas party (Can you call it a Christmas party when it's held in late January?) held at Albanese's. After all of our partying on Saturday, we are looking forward to a relaxing day on Sunday!
