Party On!

Last night, Jim and I joined Dakota's family and friends in celebrating her second birthday at her birthday party!

After a delicious dinner and a little fun with balloons, Dakota opened her birthday presents. Her favorite present seemed to be the Handy Manny tool set that Grandma Carol gave to her. She had several more presents to open after opening her tool set, but she seemed content with playing with the tools! She received a few books, a cash register, and a remote control car from her Aunt Becky and Uncle Jim. Once all of the gifts had been opened, there was a Winnie the Pooh cake to be eaten! Dakota blew out the candle on her cake with a little help from mommy, and then we dug in!

Dakota seemed to have lots of fun at her party; in fact, she didn't want it to end! Happy birthday, Dakota Paige! I hope to visit you soon! We can play with all of your new toys!
