After spending 3 days in Boston, Jim and I rented a car to head away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It didn't take us long to reach Cape Cod. We stopped for a big brunch before driving on toward the Cape Cod National Seashore, where we planned to take a couple short hikes. Up first was the Nauset Marsh Trail, an approximately 1-mile long trail winding through forest and besides the Nauset Marsh.
It was a beautiful day for some hiking, and the trail afforded us some breathtaking views of the marsh and its wildlife. And at just a little over a mile in length, the trail was perfect for us on a day on which we wanted to see and do a lot more.
