Welcome to the World, Connor James!

Jim's sister, Kristen, gave birth to an adorable little boy yesterday afternoon. Connor James entered the world at 2:45 p.m. on May 8, 2009 (Friday, of course, was Danny Gokey Day. I told Kristen and Chris that they should have named their son after the American Idol contestant.). He weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz. and measured 20 1/2 inches long.

Jim and I visited Kristen, Chris, and our new nephew, Connor, at the hospital today. Kristen and Chris asked us to serve as Connor's Godparents, and we were honored to accept!

Connor is already being groomed to be a Brewers fan much like most of his male relatives. We gave him a Brewers bib, Brewers booties, and a Brewers onesie. We laughed when we saw that he had received similar gifts from his grandma and grandpa!

Congratulations, Kristen and Chris! You have a sweet little son!
